Individual consumers undoubtedly play an important role in mitigating climate change. For example, by adopting more sustainable lifestyles. At the same time, it is clear that the climate crisis cannot be solved without large-scale systemic changes at the level of governments, institutions and corporations. What individual decisions have the biggest impact on solving the climate crisis? How do we strike a balance between personal responsibility and the need for structural change? These pressing questions will be discussed by Prof. Dr. Sina Leipold from the Helmholtz Center for Environmental Research and Dr. Jan Urban from the Center for Environmental Issues at Charles University and the Institute for Global Change Research of the CAS.
The discussion will be held in English.
