Join us for the upcoming Gender Friday, where we dive into the multi-layered world of beauty and how perceptions of it affect our daily lives, behavior patterns and societal norms. Together with the guide Zuzana Foktova, we will go through the definitions of beauty, explore how the ideals of beauty have evolved in our history and what little things have been able to influence them. We will focus on how period norms of beauty perception influenced and still influence the opportunities and experiences of individuals across the gender spectrum. We will look at the topic from several points of view, so we will also touch on the experiences of those who could seemingly benefit from beauty privilege. This workshop is not just about beauty per se; it is a story about power and diversity, different aspects of beauty, we will support our positive self-assessment.
