In this workshop we will work with wood exclusively with hand tools without the use of power tools. The goal will be to create a simple stool using a Japanese hand saw, planer, chisel or hand drill.
This workshop will be all about acquiring skills with hand tools and increasing accuracy and sensitivity in their use. We will also try to focus on the quality and precision of the final product. As much as our first encounter with hand tools will allow.
