The charismatic band Ida the Young is about to embark on a European tour that will end at the Kampus Hybernská. The band, which impressed with the varied arrangements and authentic inner expression of the singer Iris Hobson-Mazur, will play together with a fresh addition to the Prague scene Madigans and outsider songwriter Hello Incognito.

Strange flowers, black lipstick, hungry seagulls, wrinkled hands in the bathtub, volcanoes and murderous cowboys — all this makes up the world of Ida the Young. This young band from Plzeň excels both with intimate, straightforward vocals and captivating lyrics, as well as colourful instrumentation, in which they are not afraid to mix genres. After their debut folk-tinged EP Strange Shaped Flowers, they released their second EP Silver Thing in May 2024 under Korobushka Records, on which they go in a more electronic direction. At the concert on Kampus, the band will perform their alternative electro-acoustic set.
What at first glance may seem like chaos... unfolds. Guitar, bass, drums and vocals. MADIGANS was formed in 202234 and they put their all into their music. Their lyrics range in a spectrum of topics from the literary to the deeply, personally absurd.
The lo-fi singer-songwriter from the south of Moravia, currently based in Prague, is characterized by a melodic yet raw speech and distracted interaction with the audience. He debuted in 2021 with the album Greenhorn, released under the cassette label Z-Tapes. Last summer, he released his second album, Puhoy, on the Ostrava label Korobushka Records, inspired by the eponymous episode of the animated series Adventure Time. Accompanied with guitar playing.
