Double concert of the bands Jiný Metro and MarZ at Kampus Hybernská.
A pair Jiný Metro returns to their home stage of Kampus Hybernská to play songs from the new album with the whole band and put on a slightly rockier coat on that occasion. They're looking forward to the moshpit.
Listen to their new single On top of the hill.
An independent jazz-pop band named MarZ is the musical universe of the singer, guitarist and songwriter Markéta Zdeňková. Her songs are inspired by life, magical stories and the ocean. Besides Markéta, the core of MarZ is also the band's co-founder, trombonist and singer, Štěpán Janoušek, an exceptional instrumentalist of the contemporary young Prague (not only jazz) scene. His handwriting is prominently inscribed in the band arrangements. The duo's first album, Na rozcestí, was a successful introduction to the sound landscape of MarZ. In 2018, the five-member band was formed with the arrival of Dalibor Hrubeš (electric guitars), Miloš Klápště (bass guitar, synth, vocals) and Vítězslav Patočka (drums). This formation strengthened and pushed Markéta's songs into a new dimension. Their third and most mature album to date #silnouzenou, which was released in fall 2024, is receiving positive feedback in the media and from listeners alike.
