Saya Noé
Saya Noé is known for her atmospheric alternative pop-noir sound, which combines interesting, chorus-like vocal harmonies with strong, dark basses and features genres such as electronica, triphop, trap, downtempo, UK garage and house genres. Saya Noé grew up in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in a family of classical musicians. After moving to Hungary, she dipped her classical roots into pop music through her studies at imPro School in Budapest and started her career as a singer-songwriter and music producer. In 2020, Noé worked with Grammy-winning record producer Matt Lawrence (UK). Later that year she also gained the support of the National Cultural Fund of Hungary in creation of her first full-length album. (Museum of Sins). Atop the HOTS Hungarian music export agency’s top 10 list since 2020, Saya Noé proves to be one of the most potential domestic productions that can take its place in the international scene. In 2022, she received the Artisjus award as pop music songwriter and creator of the year. In 2023, Saya Noé became an ambassador for Spotify's EQUAL campaign as an independent performer. Her latest album, ‘Jupiter’ was released at the end of September 2023. She is a regular performer at major festivals in Hungary.
The singer-songwriter started her international journey in 2022 when she performed at Exit Festival (Serbia) and at Ibis' own event (Poland). She was invited to perform at Reeperbahn festival, but had to cancel due to family reasons. After 8 month break due to the same family reasons, Noé is back and is currently preparing for the launch of her album tour, as well as focusing on the Polish, Czech and Slovak regions, where she will be performing at the end of October.
Saya Noé is the most successful Hungarian musician on Twitch. With 44,000+ international followers, she streams her music live online several times a week.

Nedokážu moji hudbu zařadit žánrově. Vždycky, když to zkusím, někam mi uteče. Je to živá, tvůrčí věc, která se mi proměňuje pod rukama, pokaždé nová. Když to po mě někdo chce, většinou říkám, že to je fúze triphopu a filmové hudby s příchutí punku a dark elektra, aby si pod tím člověk vlastně pořad nemohl nic moc představit. Každej si to vyloží asi tak, jak zrovna potřebuje. Můj výraz je postavený hlavně na zpěvu s živým kytarovým doprovodem opřeném o kompozice vlastní produkce, kterou si pouštím do pozadí.
/ I can't classify my music by genre. Every time I try, it gets away. It's a living, creative thing that changes under my hands, new every time. When someone asks me to define it, I usually say it's a fusion of trip hop and film music with a touch of punk and dark electro, and that still does not tell you much. I guess everybody interprets it the way they need to. My expression is mainly based on singing with live guitar backed by my own produced compositions that I play in the background.
