Vienna-Prague evening of young alternative at Kampus Hybernská. Who do young people in the Austrian metropolis go to? The bands Gardens and Potato Beach will also visit Prague as part of their tour and perform in Hybernská together with the bands The Ashtrays and Bulit.
Viennese Gardens tell tales of failed adulthood with intimacy and directness, backed by gritty guitars and slick synthesizers.
Potato Beach follow the “easy going” surf rock of the 60s: catchy hooks, reverb and a pinch of psychedelia.
The Ashtrays is a Prague band originally coming out of the rock'n'roll of the 1950s, describing their current work as “the sound of new rock'n'roll, but it still has the smell of the last century in it”.
A rising band will also perform Bulit. According to their words, they play music with elements of punk and village rawness.
