The work I'mpresenting aims to address the role of primary exploitation of the SouthernEtruria territory played in the socio-political framework of the communitiesliving there in the 1st millennium BCE. I will explore thistransition from village communities to urbanized centres by modelling thelandscape and its historical changes. A GIS model was created to explain theagro-pastoral exploitation of the land.
