A personal meeting with Tibetan dissidents brings an unusual experience during the anniversary of the Velvet Revolution. Students and members of the public have the unusual opportunity to hear the life experiences of Tibetan poet Tenzin Tsundue, who has been imprisoned 16 times for his protest actions, and who is one of the most prominent activists for Tibetan independence.
Also sharing their experiences and views will be actress Sonam Dolma, who studied ballet in the capital Lhasa and now performs in the 14th Dalai Lama's exile residence, and singer Loten Namling, who sings traditional and original songs and has been called "The Singer with a Voice" by the 14th Dalai Lama.
The event is held in English.
