What does the sustainable music of today and tomorrow sound like? Sustain: Music and Sustainability brings together art, music-making, concert and production activities with environmental thinking. The theme of sustainability in connection with music in the Czech Republic has not yet come to the fore, this program changes the rules of the game. Conferences, debates, panel discussions, workshops as well as practical audio demonstrations and installations - all focused on the present and future of music in the era of climate change.
First action with subtitle Promoters, artists and the planet: on sustainability in the music industry took place on 23 May. The second series is titled Natural Voices in the Creation of Experimental Electronic Music held musical productions by Campus Hybernska on June 6 and 7.
The third episode of the Sustain series will focus on the music of the future. Where will music go, what will return, what are the trends now?

About Sustain #3:
Reflections on the near future are strongly shaped by themes that generally resonate in other socio-cultural fields at present. These are primarily sustainability — not only in the environmental sense, but also in the field of mental health, self-care and the relationship between humans and work, as well as the development of new technologies, led by the growing use of artificial intelligence, which will begin to radically transform the very form of work and the relationship between work and man within a few years.
Creative activities do not avoid this either, after all, visual arts are already beginning to deal actively with this issue, and music production, production and listening will likely undergo a profound transformation comparable to the expansion of computers at the end of the last century. Therefore, in anticipation of these changes, we want to invite guests who are dedicated to the future of music both in theoretical considerations and in the implementation of new procedures that go beyond the boundaries of already known, established, safe forms.
