After a year, the future-jazz duo of musicians and youtubers Adam Neely and Shawn Crowder a.k.a. Sungazer returns to the Kampus Hybernská again. This time they will even play two live shows two days in a row!
The band formed in New York City in July 2014 and came up with an original combination of fusion, 8-bit, progressive rock and EDM. It builds simultaneously on jazz improvisation and electronic music.
In October 2021, the band released their debut album titled “Perihelion”. The long-awaited debut explores the intermediate space between jazz improvisation and the aesthetics of modern electronic music. The album was produced by Simon Grove (Plini, Protest the Hero, Intervals) and features many guests: Joshua de la Victoria, Hannah Sumner, Jae Soto, Tom Monda (Thank You Scientist), Shubh Saran, Jared Yee, Christian Li, Zac Zinger, Brian Plautz (Aberdeen), Brian Krock (Big Heart Machine) and the Resonance Collective. This year they are going on tour again to present their new work to the audience.
